School Library
Students are expected to make proper use of library. Absolute silence is to be maintained both in the library and reading room.
Only one book can be borrowed at a time. Periodicals and reference books are not issued.
Delay in returning the books taken from the library will entail a fine of five rupees per day.
Books scribbled upon, torn, damaged, defaced or lost will be liable for a fine to be determined by the librarian.
Physical defects of a book if any, must be brought to the notice of the librarian by the student borrowing it at the time of its issue, otherwise the student borrowing will be held responsible for it.
A student who may take transfer (from the school) is requested to clear his/her library dues in time.
Educational Tours
Besides organizing excursions to places of interest in and around the town, the school organizes tours to the places of historical importance, places of pilgrimage and places of interest during the holidays and vacations.
Medical Care
The health of the children of the school is checked periodically by qualified doctors. Arrangements are made by the school for different kinds of vaccination to the students of the school. In case of accidents and emergency, doctors are called at once for proper treatment and advice.
Labs
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computers, Music, Anthology, Sports (With sports goods), Amphitheatre etc. with a well managed infrastructure.
General Health, Games & Sports
To meet the requirement of this age a strong programme of health education is necessary as a good academic one. For physical development every child is watched and suitable remedial exercises, including Yoga are made use of. The school follows a carefully planned system of physical culture. The students are divided into four houses viz. NANAK, TAGORE, KALAM and TERESA. Football, Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis etc. are played. Physical exercises are compulsory for all the students of the school.
Inter House Annual Athletic/Sports Meet is held during the winter season.
Project System
Students are encouraged to take up various projects through which they can get much better knowledge and understanding of various facts and phenomena without drabness and monotony.
Transport
Arrangements for transport are made of transporting students from various fix points to school and dropping them back to the same points. Parents should apply separately for school transport at the time of admission. Once a student decides to avail of transport, he/she will have to pay transport charges for eleven months. No concession in transport charge will be granted for broken periods.
